In this role you will work in a cross-functional team to control and improve the quality of our clients’ software and customer experience by identifying and preventing defects to ensure that the software is fit for purpose for customers. You will evaluate requirements along with user stories and also participate in testing activities across the squad including planning ceremonies, backlog plans, estimations and daily sprints. You will also be influential in the continual improvement of the testing function within the business.
The kind of person we are looking for:
- Prior experience as Software Tester / QA Engineer in a software engineering team
- Experience in Agile methodologies (preferrably)
- Testing Principles and Practices
- Ability to collaborate with developers, business analysts and other test professionals
REQUIRED SKILLS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Automation testing (Selenium)
- Good experience as a manual tester
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and Java
- Designing and developing test automation scripts using Selenium
- Executing test cases and test scripts
- Using test automation guidelines
- Researching issues in software through testing
- Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions
- Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing
- Should have Microsoft Unit Test Framework development experience and good understanding of the framework
- Maintaining automation scripts for regression
- Good to have experience in version control tools like Bitbucket
